FAQ

Common questions

Do you give free quotes?

Yes. Every quote is free and in writing, so you know exactly what is included before any work starts. Send plans or a few photos and we will take it from there, with a site visit where needed.

Are you licensed and insured?

Yes. Capra Carpentry Pty Ltd holds NSW contractor licence 495273C and is fully insured. Insurance details are available on request.

What does “cut on site” mean?

Timber is measured, cut and fitted on site to the actual building, not just the drawing. It means tighter fits, less waste and fewer surprises when the next trade arrives.

Do you work for builders as well as homeowners?

Both. For builders, work is priced per job or on a schedule of rates, depending on the project. For homeowners, you get a fixed written quote for the job.

What areas do you cover?

Mainly Western and South-West Sydney, including Liverpool, Campbelltown, Parramatta, Blacktown, Bankstown, Penrith, Fairfield and Camden, and the suburbs around them. Elsewhere in Greater Sydney, get in touch and ask.

What types of cladding do you install?

We specialise in composite cladding and castellated-style cladding, and also install timber and weatherboard profiles. Castellated cladding has alternating raised and recessed channels for a crisp, modern finish; composite options need very little maintenance.

What are your hours?

Monday to Friday 7am to 4pm, Saturday 9am to 3pm. Closed Sunday.
